What areas do you deliver to?
We serve Baltimore City and the greater DMV area, including Baltimore County, Howard County, Anne Arundel County, and parts of Prince George's County. Enter your zip code at checkout or ask Jumpy to confirm delivery availability to your address.
How early will the crew arrive to set up?
Our team typically arrives 30–60 minutes before your rental start time to set up the inflatable and ensure everything is safe and ready to go before guests arrive.
How much space do I need for setup?
Space requirements vary by unit, but most bounce houses need at least a 15×15 ft flat area with 2–3 ft of clearance on all sides. Combo units and slides may require more. Exact dimensions are listed on each product page.
Can inflatables be set up on surfaces other than grass?
Yes! Most inflatables can be set up on grass, concrete, asphalt, or pavement. We use sandbags or stakes depending on the surface. Please let us know your surface type when you book so we can come prepared.
Is delivery included in the rental price?
Delivery fees vary by distance from our Baltimore warehouse. Your exact delivery charge will be calculated at checkout based on your address. Setup and takedown are always included at no extra cost.
How many children can use the bounce house at once?
Capacity depends on the specific unit. As a general rule, standard bounce houses allow 6–8 children at a time. Overcrowding is the leading cause of injuries, so always follow the posted capacity limits on the unit.
Are adults allowed inside the bounce house?
Adults should not bounce with young children, as the weight difference can cause small children to lose control and get hurt. Adult use should only occur in adult-designated sessions when no children are present.
What items are not allowed inside the inflatable?
No shoes, sharp objects, silly string, face paint, food, drinks, or gum inside any inflatable. These items can damage the vinyl and create safety hazards. Silly string in particular causes permanent staining and will result in a cleaning fee.
Do I need to supervise the bounce house the whole time?
Yes. An adult must supervise the inflatable at all times during the rental. We do not provide attendants unless specifically arranged. The renter is responsible for enforcing all safety rules and signing a digital waiver before use.
What is the age range for your bounce houses?
Most standard bounce houses are designed for children ages 3–12. Toddler units are available for younger kids. Some combo units and slides are suitable for older children and teens. Age and weight guidelines are listed on each product page.
What happens if it rains on the day of my event?
Light rain does not automatically cancel a rental — many customers continue using inflatables in drizzle. However, inflatables must be deflated during lightning, thunder, or winds exceeding 20 mph. You are responsible for deflating the unit when conditions become unsafe.
Can I get a refund if the weather is bad?
Weather-related refunds are available if a severe weather event (thunderstorm, high winds, or a weather advisory) impacts your rental date and you contact us at least 2 hours before your delivery window. Light rain alone does not qualify for a refund.
What wind speed is considered unsafe for inflatables?
Sustained winds above 20 mph or gusts above 25 mph require the inflatable to be deflated. Do not attempt to use the bounce house during these conditions regardless of whether it is raining.
Can I reschedule my rental if it rains?
Yes. If weather forces a cancellation and you notify us before delivery, we will work with you to find an alternative date, subject to availability. Rescheduling is free of charge when weather is the documented reason.
How much does a bounce house rental cost in Baltimore?
Our bounce house rentals start around $149 for a standard unit and go up based on size, theme, and rental duration. Combo units with slides and obstacles start around $199. See our full catalog for exact pricing on each item.
Is a deposit required to book?
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your reservation. The deposit amount varies by unit and is applied toward your total balance. The remaining balance is due on or before your event date.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards online through our secure Stripe checkout. Card payments are processed at the time of booking for the deposit and at delivery or prior to the event for the remaining balance.
Are there any extra fees I should know about?
Delivery fees apply based on your distance from our Baltimore warehouse. Cleaning fees may be charged if the unit is returned with silly string, excessive mud, or damage beyond normal wear. All applicable fees are shown at checkout before you pay.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. Maryland state sales tax applies to rental charges and is automatically calculated and shown at checkout.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes. Cancellations made more than 7 days before your event date are eligible for a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 7 days of the event may forfeit the deposit, depending on circumstances. Contact us as soon as possible if plans change.
How do I cancel or modify my booking?
You can cancel or modify your booking by contacting us via phone at 443-579-5867, by email at cs@bouncy-rentals.com, or by chatting with Jumpy directly on this page. Have your order number ready.
What if I need to reschedule instead of cancel?
Rescheduling is always preferred over cancellation. We'll do our best to move your reservation to a new date at no penalty, subject to availability. Please give us as much notice as possible.
Will I receive a refund if a unit becomes unavailable?
Yes. In the rare event that a reserved unit becomes unavailable due to damage or equipment failure, we will offer a comparable replacement or issue a full refund automatically to your original payment method.
Does a bounce house need electricity to operate?
Yes. All inflatables require a continuous power supply to run the blower motor that keeps the unit inflated. The blower must remain plugged in and running the entire time the inflatable is in use.
How close to an outlet does the bounce house need to be?
We provide a 50-foot extension cord with every rental. The inflatable needs to be set up within 50 feet of a standard 110V/20-amp electrical outlet. If your setup location is farther away, please let us know in advance so we can bring additional cord.
Can I use a generator instead of an outlet?
Yes, a generator works fine as long as it provides at least 1,500 watts of continuous power. Most bounce houses draw between 800 and 1,500 watts. If you plan to use a generator, please mention it when booking so we can advise on the right size.
What happens if the power goes out during the rental?
If power is lost, the inflatable will slowly deflate. Keep all riders off immediately and do not allow anyone back on until power is restored and the unit is fully inflated again. Contact us if the blower itself stops working.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and holidays like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. Popular units book up quickly during the summer season in Baltimore.
How do I check if a unit is available on my date?
Availability is shown in real time on each product page. You can also ask Jumpy to check availability for a specific unit and date. Availability is confirmed and held only after your deposit is processed.
Can I book online, or do I need to call?
You can book entirely online through our website, 24 hours a day. Simply browse our catalog, select your unit, choose your date and time, and complete checkout. You can also chat with Jumpy to get a quote and book directly in the chat.
How long is a standard rental period?
Standard rentals are for one day (typically 4–8 hours of use). Extended rental periods and overnight rates are available for some units. Multi-day rates can be arranged — contact us for custom pricing.
Can I reserve multiple items for the same event?
Absolutely. You can add multiple inflatables, tables, chairs, and concession machines to a single order at checkout. Combining items in one order makes it easier to coordinate delivery and setup.
What cities and counties do you serve?
Bouncy Rentals serves Baltimore City and the surrounding region, including Baltimore County (Towson, Catonsville, Dundalk, Essex, Parkville), Howard County (Columbia, Ellicott City, Laurel), Anne Arundel County (Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Pasadena), and parts of Prince George's County (Hyattsville, College Park, Bowie).
Do you deliver to Washington, DC?
We currently serve select areas on the Maryland side of the DMV. DC deliveries may be available depending on the location — enter your address at checkout or ask Jumpy to check your specific area.
Is there a minimum order for delivery?
There is no minimum order value for delivery, but delivery fees apply based on distance from our Baltimore warehouse. Closer locations have lower delivery fees, and some nearby zip codes may qualify for free or reduced delivery.
Do you deliver to parks and public venues?
Yes! We regularly set up at parks, community centers, church events, and school functions throughout Baltimore and the DMV. Many parks require a permit for commercial inflatables — please check with your local parks department and let us know if you need a certificate of insurance for your venue.
